How to hide username display in crucible side-by-side view

In side by side view in Crucible with the files side panel collapsed, a major waste of space is the name and email address of the submitter on the left side. Is there a way to hide this?

I don't have the 'Show Columns' section on a new Crucible installation I just setup (v3.4.4). We have it on our old server (v2.7.11). Is there an option we have to turn on in the configuration?
