Fisheye - importing SVN failed due to invalid characters in filenname

I need to import an SVN repository starting at a specific revision.
While Fisheye is scanning the repo it gets stuck saying it can't find some files.
I noticed that all of these files have wrong/bad characters (like colons and such) that were committed to the repo. I know it's bad... :(
When I check-out the files on my Windows computer the filenames have circles, when I checkout on Cygwin they have colons and when I checkout on the CentOS machine running Fisheye they have squares.
In any case, these files are preventing me from importing the repo and it didn't help that I excluded the directory they were in.
Any suggestions?
