Crucible indexing a new branch is quit slow

Hailin Zhang

Hi there, we are suffering a slowness issue when creating a new branch in Crucible.

We are usingFeCru 3.1.5 (only one instance is running for Crucible and FishEye).

I have read the KB https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/FISHKB/Git+Repository+Indexing+is+Too+Slow+when+Creating+a+New+Branch+or+Tag

Dont think it is suitable for our case. Is there any other workaround to speedup Crucible/FishEye?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Hailin,

Indexing performance is something we're continually trying to improve.

Specifically for git indexing there were major changes in the 3.4 relaase (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/FE-3461) that benefit new branch indexing performance. It is also something we are looking to improve further in future releases.

Thanks for your reply Lukasz, is the updating for FeCru (one instance for Crucile and FishEye) as well?
