Can Crucible be set to run as aplugin within JIRA

Hi,

Crucible version 2.7.14 is running as a stand alone application on port 8060 on our server. We also have JIRA running on the same server on port 8080.

We received this question from our users:

Can Crucible be added as a plugin to JIRA in order to be able to access it from the same URL instead of having to open two URLs with two different ports?

Would you be able to help us answer this question please?

Can we configure/install Crucible to run under JIRA application instead of running as stand alone application? and what are the implications of running it this way?

They are separate applications. Proxy both jira and fisheye through port 80 using Apache or IIS, so jira is accessible at /jira, fisheye at /fisheye. Lots of info on this on atlassian's and this site.
