Any way to filter out or ignore committers from CVS?

We purchased the starter license (10 committers), but unfortunately inherited a CVS repository with a long history.  It does not appear CVS allows to set a start date when creating the Fisheye repository, so the indexing is finding a large number of committers that are no longer relevant to our go forward use of Fisheye and JIRA.  Of course, this is exceeding the license limit on committers.

We are wanting to make use of Smart Commits.

Is there any way to filter out or ignore specific committers prior to indexing?  If not, do you have any recommendations without modifying the CVS history?

Hi @David Dudenhefer,

At this stage, I'm not aware of any options to exclude committers when using a CVS repository in Fisheye itself.

More details on this scenario are available on the Restrictions on FishEye Starter Licenses page. In term of configuration options, it is true that the settings are limited to the ones described on the CVS documentation page.

Not sure if this would be an option, but what about converting this repository to a different SCM type?
