Recently, we had several conversations with teams managing large-scale delivery initiatives, and one theme kept appearing:

Visibility becomes harder as programs grow.

Even with established tools and processes, program teams often struggle with:

• Tracking cross-team dependencies
• Understanding where approvals are blocked
• Consolidating updates from multiple workstreams
• Providing accurate status reporting to stakeholders
• Maintaining visibility across business and technical teams

Many organizations are finding that the challenge isn't tracking individual tasks—it's creating a connected view of work across the entire program.

Here are my challenges when I am running large-scale, cross team, enterprise Initiatives 

• Showing dependencies across teams in one tool
• Showing - visually representing capacity across teams
• Overall doing metrics inside the normal Atlassian toolset is really difficult.  The dashboards are not adequate and the widgets are not dynamic enough.  I'm in an organization that is running premium level and apparently I cant even get Atlassian Analytics access without Enterprise level.  This leaves alot of your client base with no choice but to dump data out and do reporting elsewhere.  Super difficult. 
• Cross team tracking, especially across multiple dev teams not working in ONE Jira software project board. 
• The suite is missing the ability to pull real-time information from JPD and dJira into Confluence.
