Hi community!
A lot changed across Cloud Enterprise in 2025 — and we know it can be hard to keep up with what’s new. So we pulled the biggest highlights into one place to make it easier to scan what shipped this year and what we’re focused on next!
When you’re running Atlassian across a large organization, even small changes can have big ripple effects — and it’s not always easy to test, standardize, and roll out updates with confidence. In 2025, we shipped new capabilities to help admins manage change more securely and keep things running smoothly, including:
Higher Rovo allowances — support broader Rovo adoption with higher usage allowances.
Jira custom templates — standardize best-practice workflows so every new project starts right.
Freeze windows — pause release of new changes temporarily for up to 14 days to better align with internal change schedules.
As teams grow (and more users, apps, and data enter the picture), security can get complicated fast — especially when you’re balancing strong controls with day-to-day productivity. In 2025, we added more ways to help you tighten access and protect sensitive data without slowing teams down, including:
Service accounts — scale automation and maintain security and compliance by creating non‑human accounts to generate and manage API tokens.
Multiple external user security policies — define policies for your external users with more flexibility.
Microsoft Intune MAM integration — ensure teams are accessing mobile apps securely and reduce administrative overhead by applying security controls and managing all MAM capabilities from the Intune dashboard.
Block Beta operating systems — prevent users from using Atlassian mobile apps if they have a Beta operating system installed.
When your Atlassian environment spans multiple apps and thousands of users, it can be difficult to visualize the flow of work across your teams. In 2025, we continued to evolve Analytics in Cloud Enterprise by boosting security and compliance, increasing the depth of Atlassian Cloud data your teams can analyze, and by bringing best practices and top tips to your teams:
Manage your data with greater control and confidence — we announced HIPAA, Data Residency, and BYOK support for Analytics.
Drive organizational-level work alignment — with Goals and Projects data in the Data Lake, Analytics helps you connect the dots across teams.
Build dashboards that matter — we hosted a hands-on webinar on creating and customizing dashboards for progress tracking and executive reporting, including cycle time, flow metrics, and ITSM request management.
And if you missed it, Jira Service Management Enterprise now rolls into the Service Collection — which includes Customer Service Management (CSM), Assets, and Rovo AI for service workflows. Cloud Enterprise customers keep existing capabilities and pricing — while gaining additional value at no extra cost.
If you’re considering an upgrade to Cloud Enterprise — or building an internal business case — we partnered with Forrester on the Total Economic Impact of Atlassian Cloud Enterprise study. The study highlights the outcomes you can drive with Cloud Enterprise over a three-year period, including improved governance, reduced admin effort, and faster time-to-value with:
230% ROI
$3.5M in total benefits
Payback period < 6 months
