Rovo Will Change How Enterprises Work

I've been using Rovo a lot for the last few weeks and Rovo continues to surprise me.  When I first started using Rovo, it was a little rough.  I felt like I had to be very specific with Rovo to get anything useful out of it.  After Team 26, with all the discussions around Context, I knew it was time to revisit Rovo.  For the last 3 weeks, I've been putting Rovo through the gauntlet and I'm pleasantly surprised with how good Rovo is.

Here's what I've learned and I think you should care about this.

Simply put, Rovo saves time. . . like a lot of time.  Because it understands all of your organization's foundational knowledge, it can do remarkable things.  For an enterprise that has 20+ years of history in Jira, this is huge.  For enterprises that only have a few teams using Jira, you are missing out!  The power of Rovo is that it can parse, digest, and understand all your enterprise data.  If only some teams are in the Atlassian tools, you are handicapping what Rovo can do.  

Here's a great example of how Rovo can help your team save hundreds, if not thousands of hours.  I used to be a program manager. My job was to track every bug in our system and for each bug, follow up with the assignee on a daily basis and get the latest progress.  This meant I had to schedule a lot of calls, send more emails than I could count, attend a lot of meetings, and even physically drive to a different building to get updates.  I had to piece together all the information I gathered, ask the right questions, and then put it all together in a presentation for my executives.  I had to find the blockers, understand what was causing the blockers, and recommend next steps.  Every week, for 2 quarters, I did this as a full time job.  8 hours a day, every day.  I even had 2 other folks on my team that helped with the workload, so technically, that was 24 hours a day, every day for 6 straight months.

It was an important job that helped move the team along, but one that literally drained everything out of me.  This past week, while using Rovo, I noticed that it could easily do everything that used to take me and my team hundreds of hours . .. and it could do it in minutes!  The research, the follow ups, the presentation, all of it, Rovo could easily handle it.  But it's only possible when Rovo can see it, and for that, all your teams need to be using the Atlassian tools (and possibly some connectors to track emails, docs, and Slack conversations).  This opened my eyes to all the unique possibilities that Rovo provides.
