using REST API - need to pull more than page default

Running the curl command I can only pull the max number of 49 tasks.

It looks like that is the default page limit.

Can I over ride that limit using the curl command?

Here's the documentation for this endpoint.

You should be able to use maxResults query parameter to change the default 50.
