I'd recommend taking a look at upgrading the Long Term Support version.  7.4.6 is quite outdated at this point (I believe it came out in 2018?) and there are many security vulnerabilities.

As for the Data Center upgrade, I'd recommend checking to see if all of your add-ons are DC-compatible before making the hop.  You also have the ability to multi-node for performance and failover benefits so taking a look at the effort for that would be beneficial.  If you have any further questions feel free to respond to this.  Thanks!

Do it! Your way past due for an upgrade. I suggest going to at least the latest 8.x version. :)
