Event driven architecture with Jira Data Center

I am exploring if EDA is possible with Jira Data center (we have 8.13.3 installed). I have referred Using an event-driven architecture to improve Jira Software responsiveness - Atlassian Engineering but looks like its available for Jira Cloud only.

 

My use case: I want to ingest the Jira project data and data from other data sources to AWS ES. I am exploring if its possible to use EDA to avoid any batch processing.
