Development Environment and Deployment Processes

Hey everyone,

I have built out a pretty extensive environment for my organization which has many different customer issue types, workflows, etc.

Up until now we have made any changes as part of the live production system, but I am not a fan of this as we cannot easily test changes, perform UAT, introduce experimental changes, etc.

I am looking to try and put together a process and set-up a new development/test environment that would allow us to work on changes without affecting the live environment, and simply "deploy" our changes once ready.

I know I've seen some questions from back in 2013 that didn't really provide much hope, but am hoping that maybe something has changed or there are new best practices for doing something like this.

Your guidance in this is very much appreciated.

Hi Jonathan,

I think the best way would be using a third party app like CMJ.

Other options are very manual, time consuming and error-prone.
