Configure field layout in the issue view - Server and Data Center

Hi,

Does anyone know when the features implemented in the cloud related to the field layout configuration of an issue will be available in non-cloud versions?

We have restrict security regulations and cloud-based applications are not an option for us.

There is no guarantee any feature made available for Cloud will make its way to the Server version of the same product. This is especially true of anything relating to the Jira Next-Gen area because this is a completely different code base than classic Jira.

In some instances even Data Centre features will not be made available for Server versions of the same product.

Are you saying Atlassian is slowly phasing out any improvements to their versions besides Cloud? It seems that they want to become a sole Cloud-based. Is this the new direction?
