Atlassian Data Center Helm Charts Now Support Red Hat OpenShift

Exciting news: Atlassian Data Center Helm Charts have officially rolled out support for Red Hat OpenShift in 1.18 release! This update brings several key enhancements designed to secure your deployments and simplify networking configuration on OpenShift.

What's New?

  • Restricted and NonRoot SCC Compatibility: We've updated our container images and Helm charts to run under restricted or nonroot Security Context Constraints (SCC), boosting your deployment's security on OpenShift.
  • OpenShift Routes Templates Added: Simplifying your network setup, we've integrated OpenShift routes templates directly into our Helm charts. This means less hassle and more efficiency in getting your Atlassian stack up and running on OpenShift.
  • Thorough Testing with DCAPT Framework: To ensure top-notch performance and stability, we've rigorously tested our Helm charts on OpenShift using the Data Center App Performance Toolkit (DCAPT) with large datasets. The good news? No regressions found.
  • Updated Documentation & FAQs: We've also refreshed our documentation and added a new section of FAQs specifically for OpenShift users.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or requests regarding OpenShift-specific features, or if you would like to share your experiences with deploying Atlassian Data Center Helm Charts on Red Hat OpenShift.
