Once installed with embedded DB how do I switch Crowd to use SQL Server?

Currently there is no user or directory setup yet.

Hi there,

I think the best method for a new instance is to use the XML backup. Please try the following steps

  1. Create the XML backup of your current Crowd instance
  2. Install a new Crowd with the new database
  3. Restore your XML backup

Hope it helps.

Cheers,

Thanks Septa. I ended up reinstalling the whole setup after wiping out the CROWD HOME DIRECTORY.
