Can Crowd to use OpenID (Google/Yahoo!) as directory for authentication?

Can Crowd use OpenID (Google/Yahoo!) as directory for authentication? Just like Jenkins can do this.

I tried Google Apps Directory for Crowd, but it seems I have to add users in Google Apps Domain. Basically I have to manage all users. I cannot use any Gmail account for this purpose.

Please kindly clarify.

Hi, Crowd (the download version) can make Crowd users auth to Google App applications, but cannot use it as a directory.

So, no it can't do what you want to do.

Atlassian OnDemand can use Google Apps as a user directory though.
