I am trying to copy & paste a table from MS word to a confluence page but it's not working.
There are times when I have to take a table from MS Word (or Outlook), and paste it into Excel, then into Confluence. I am not sure what causes the issue, but I am assuming that something hidden in the structure causes Confluence an issue.
It should work. What browser are you using? Have you tried a different browser? I am wondering if you have a browser extension that is causing the problem.

@Brant Schroeder it was working fine till yesterday, I use google chrome. I doubt something changed with the browser!

@arun.mahalingam What happens if you use a different browser or copy a different document? I am currently able to copy and paste into chrome without any issue.

@Brant Schroeder & @Bill Bailey I have tried different browser, from an excel sheet and from a new word document (take the table from the problematic word document to excel & to a new word document) but none of the options worked. So I ended up creating the table in confluence and copy & pasted each cell individually from the word document.
There was something in that word document that Confluence didn't like since I am still able to copy paste tables from other word documents.
