where is layout management in confluence

I read https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/cannot-create-space-because-add-space-link-is-missing-from-dashboard-after-confluence-upgrade-284366239.html because my "create page" is missing

but i can't find "layout" in my admin area

help!

Hey Nick,

Your question is tagged Confluence Cloud. It was a good idea to search the knowledge base, however, it is unlikely that an upgrade caused a layout to become obsolete and hide the create space button, as described in the Confluence Server knowledge base article you linked. Also, you are trying to add a page and not a space from my understanding of your question.

In Confluence Cloud the Create page button has been replaced by a plus sign over on the left:

If that plus button isn't visible you will need to have the Add permission set for you on that space. How do you find out who the space admin is for a particular space? Click Spaces in the Confluence sidebar, then choose the Space Details icon beside a space.
