what maximum amount of data that can be captured in one confluence page

Hi Team,

 

Can you we place or insert  400 pages data(PDF document ) into  a single confluence page at the global template level .

The limit is ~ 2GB for newer version of confluence server. But please don't go there, it will be huge performance penalty. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFSERVER-12773

 

Try to split data in multiple pages in single space or page hierarchy.

Hi @eshwarp 

May I ask what you mean by adding into the global template level? Do you mean you want this attachment  shown on all pages created?

If yes, you’ll need to watch out for performance impacts because though Confluence does not have a known page limit to my knowledge, loading really large pages would require more resources.

For our project requirement , we have a draft a document of 20 pages . we would like to use the confluence for our document purpose . So i planned to create a template at global level  which captures the 20 pages information . Going further this document will be extended to 400 pages or more . 

I agree to your statement , my performance will be reduced while exporting the document .

Just i would like to know  what is maximum amount of data that can be inserted in one confluence page ?
