trying to importing confluence calendar into outlook

I followed the info here https://confluence.atlassian.com/teamcal/subscribe-to-team-calendars-from-microsoft-outlook-251005307.html.

It said outlook could not delete events or something like that. More concerning is the calendar doesnt show up. I used the free CalDav Synchronizer per the document.

what am I doing wrong? It also sent our email admin and users 800 messages about what it was doing and it seemed to send all my calendars to someone else yet they werent selected.
