Welcome to Atlassian Community. Could you let me know what the search query is you've used, and what is the attached file that you're trying to search? It may help for you to review the document on Confluence Search Syntax if you want to be sure you are using the correct syntax.

Are you just not getting the expected results, or does nothing happen when you search? Lastly, have you reported this to your Cloud site admin? They might be able to help you with this issue directly.
