restrictions for pages and its child pages .

Hi,

I had a situation in confluence space where it has 50+ pages. Among these, one page has 20 child pages and with no restrictions. We have 20 users working on that Space.

Question is, 5 users of 20 should have access to view and edit only for a single page and its child page and restricted to the remaining pages. Whereas the other 15 users must have access to all the 50+ pages and their child pages.

How to do this?

Thanks in advance.

Chandra.

Hi @Sekhar Chandra ,

You can use restriction page and modify inheritance page, also I recommend split users through groups.

Hi @Andrew

When using restrictions only these 5 user are able to view that page but what about rest of the 15 users?

15 users must have access to 50+ pages and 5 users are only allowed to view one page among the 50+ pages.

Thanks for the answer.

As per the document @Andrew pointed to - take the 50 pages in a space which allows your 15 users to see them, and restrict the one page to the 5 users you need to limit it to.  Try clicking "restrictions" while in edit mode on the page, it's reasonably intuitive.
