raising Jira issue from confluence does not display correctly in confluence when you select all text

raising Jira issues from confluence do not display correctly in confluence when you select all the text. 

Each confluence action below was raised in Jira (by highlighting etc) correctly but does not display at all or show the status if you select a whole line or multiple lines when raising the jira issue by highlighting.  On line 2 and five it appears to only work because i didn't select the whole line (e.g. i left out the first and last letter of the line when highlighting).  please can you help?  is this a known bug?

if u're using Firefox, maybe confluence won't display correctly.
