"feature" not available in the blog drop down menu

I am trying to use the News Board Lite app and in order to have the blog posts show up on the News Board, I need to feature the blogs individually. There is no longer an option to "feature" a blog post under the three dots menu. I am enabled on the new navigation update recently came out.

I also do not have a "feature" option for blogs.  I looked under most rocks in edit and published mode, no dice.

I am guessing that menu is removed when the layout changes were pushed. Per News Board Support docs, that's the only way to have the posts show up on this app. :(
