"Excerpt include" from template

Hi!
The Exerpt and Except include macros work great, but even though I'm able to add an Excerpt macro to a template, I'm unable to find that excerpt with the Excerpt include macro on the same space.

I'm using Confluence 4.3.7. What could I be doing wrong?
