office connector on demand

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Configuring the Office Connector

Im no longer able to edit documents from Confluence. A popup says I need to configure the office connector which is not available, or disabled, for Atlassian on demand.

Hello Francisco, 

There's a known issue with the Office Connector for Confluence being tracked at: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-40720

Most users have reported an issue with using Firefox and have been able to workaround using Internet Explorer. 

Please note, the article you've referenced is only applicable in Server Environments.
