@mention in inline comments on PDF preview is not working (all other previews do work)

When I try to add an user by @-mention in an inline comment in the PDF preview this does not work. After adding the "@" a space automatically follows but no user selection.

The same procedure works on all other file formats (e.g. .doc-files or JPG or Excel sheets etc.) only the PDF preview does have this problem...

Any idea?

The issue you are experiencing has been reported as a bug in the product. You may find the bug request at CONFSERVER-54766. We would suggest you vote and watch this request to receive future updates on its status.

Unfortunately at this time there is no known workaround to this issue.
