is there a macro that can do this: work breakdown structure (WBS)

Villy Savino April 17, 2019

We have JIRA in place for development, I need to see if confluence has a macro that will allow for me to create a work breakdown structure (WBS) with tasks, sub-tasks, showing duration, start and end dates, dependencies and assigned resources -- which will then show as a gantt chart. Roadmap Planner is not a viable solution for what I need. Thanks for your help!

A Gantt chart can be build with Table Filter and Charts app in Confluence.

Hi, @Villy Savino. To the best of my knowledge, there's no macro that can do what you describe. However, there are some Jira apps that can.

The popular ones usually have Confluence widgets that allow to display the resulting WBS/Gantt charts on a Confluence page (or a Jira dashboard).

The company I work for makes one such solution, Structure.Gantt. But there are others you may want to check out as well.

Best of luck to you,
