Hi, I have been using Confluence on my IPad in desktop mode for some time on Chrome browser. But now it is telling me that the browser is not supported. I have looked around the net but I can’t find a solution. The Chrome browser is up to date, plus I tested on Firefox and I get the same issue.
Any ideas? Thanks
If anyone at Atlassian is reading this thread, please pay attention. Instead of dumping the user out to an error page because their “browser isn’t supported,” consider showing a prominent warning and allowing the user to continue at their own risk. I get this error when I’m on my iPad running the latest Chrome browser. It’s fully capable of rendering the Confluence environment. Indeed, before the error page is shown, the actual Confluence UI shows up for a brief moment, tantalizingly teasing me, only for my heart to sink to the floor when that decision made by one of your arguably C- grade product managers sends me to the error page.
There is nothing more ridiculous in usability than making something impossible when in reality is might have only been hypothetically improbable to work. Let me find that out myself. I’m a big boy.
And hire some better product managers.
Hi @Adrian Grajdeanu welcome to the community. Based on this page listing the Supported Browsers, Safari & Chrome on iOS should work.
Well, technically it says iOS, not iPadOS.
On that page it also says Confluence is only supported using Confluence Cloud if you're using the Confluence App, have you tried that?
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the quick response @Dan Breyen . I had viewed that page before, and yes the browsers should work, I mean it was working for me before with Chrome.
I don’t fully understand your suggestion, but i can say that I tested on the App and I don’t want to use the App version because of multiple display issue, such cutting wide table on the sides in view mode, and in edit mode completely changing the sizes of the table columns among others.
I mean I want to use the desktop version because it displays a wider and zoomed out view of the page, as I work with my IPad on the horizontal. But I think these preferences are a slight tangent on the current issue.
So this Cloud setting is the issue with desktop mode? Is this something new cause it worked fine for me before? I have this issue for a few months.
Thanks again for looking over this.

That information came from Atlassian. On that page further down it says they are only supporting the app.
