Are you trying to have the HTML file be turned into a Confluence page?

There's a feature request for this:

However, someone has developed a script that could help you with that. Have a look at that and let us know if that helps you.

Below is my requirement:-

I have a text file, say confluence.txt which contains html tags.

I have created a dummy page say "Testing" on confluence. I want the contents of confluence.txt to be visible on this page.

Best bet is to drop the html onto a web server, and copy and paste the view of it from a browser
