how to recover missing pages when even the server backups are missing?

So this is gonna be a little long and hopefully not too confusing.   

1) tried to login into confluence one day after 2 weeks of not using it,
2) realized my password wasn't working. 
3) logged in through the admin account, realized the latest update was Aug 2016 and all pages were reverted to that date. 

4) Our server backup were also dated to that last known date.

Did you check the logs? What error(s) are you seeing?

would the log analyzer be the appropriate place to look at this ?

Hi @Nicholas Sim

Not really. You will need to look into the Home Directory for a folder called: logs.

It should be something like atlassian-confluence.log
