So this is gonna be a little long and hopefully not too confusing.
1) tried to login into confluence one day after 2 weeks of not using it,
2) realized my password wasn't working.
3) logged in through the admin account, realized the latest update was Aug 2016 and all pages were reverted to that date.
4) Our server backup were also dated to that last known date.

Not really. You will need to look into the Home Directory for a folder called: logs.
It should be something like atlassian-confluence.log
