how to insert a scrollable table more than page width in Atlassian cloud
its not allowing to resize beyond page width
Hello @Reddy, Sannala Sumanth Welcome to the community. You need to change the setting to fixed column width and the horizontal scroll bar will appear automatically if the table width is greater than the page width.
Best, Vinu
Hi @Reddy, Sannala Sumanth and welcome to the Community.
You can simply copy and paste. You can resize the table by moving vertical resizing bars
- and go beyond the boundary of the page width - but the maximum will be determined by the maximum width of the page at full width setting.
Once you publish the page, horizontal scroll will be activated.

So for a long and wide table, I need to scroll down to the very bottom of the table, use the bottom scroll bar on the table to move the table across to the right a bit, then scroll back up and find where I was, then back to the bottom of the table to move it left again.
This doesn't feel like progress when compared to the old tables which you could set to any size and would just make the overall page wider, allowing you to use the standard browser horizontal scrollbar to move left and right in the table.
As a reader of the page it is also unclear from looking at the table whether there are indeed columns to scroll to on the right because they are just clipped off.
Perhaps I'm missing something?
