how does Guard count the guest

I have 150 guests / customers  in confluence and Jira service management I want to reduce the effort of administration does guard can help and how it counts

Guard bills based on unique managed and external users who access supported products – that includes users in Confluence and Jira Service Management. Confluence guests are considered external users and do count toward your Guard license. Jira Service Management portal-only accounts that only submit tickets are not billable.
