how do you create a space that can be seen

I deleted a space and recreated the same name space, now I can not see it, why. Is there a way to get it back so all can see it in the space?

When you deleted the space, you inadvertently killed off the space permission that said "let anyone in".

I can't tell what it was before, so you need to do one of these two:

Go to space admin -> permissions and re-add the groups you were letting in before (confluence-users?)

Go to space admin -> permissions and look for the last row, which should say "anonymous". Enable that for view.

Mike, if you mean by "can not see it" that it is not in the Spaces directory, you may need to reindex under Confluence Admin>>Content Indexing.
