how do I re-enable a user in confluence?

Stacey Sundarrajan

I need to re-enable a user in Confluence.  We use LDAP and I have his permissions restored in Jira.  We are hosting our own instance.

I can't find any flag in user management that I can change to re-enable him.

Can anyone assist?

If you deleted the user in User Management then you'll have to create a brand new account for him.

If you deactivated him, search for him in User Management with Inactive Users switched on (Inactive Users is in the dropdown next to the search box in User Management).  There will be an Activate option on the right hand side.

(Caveat: This is how you normally reactivate a user.  I don't know if LDAP integration will affect that.)
