I am guessing that drag and drop of attachments is not supported as it creates a .webloc file.  True?

right clicking and downloading linked file gets you a .html file.

How can i get an attachment to my chosen folder or drag it into an email?

If you view the attachments using either an Attachments macro on the page or selecting ••• -> Attachments, you should be able to click on an attachment and save it locally wherever you like.

Clicking on the attachment brings up a preview window and a download button.  clicking that downloads the file to my download directory.  there is no way to choose a download location.

dragging a file to a folder creates a .webloc file in the folder

Indeed it will download to your default directory, but you can then move it wherever you want.

Alternatively, you can change the default download location in at least some, and probably all, browsers.
