We had a user decide to move all his pages he had in his person space into his actual confluence space, he moved these with pages named identical to pages already in the space, this confused confluence to no end and ended up disappearing both the new content and the old, i managed to get the spaces original content back by renaming the new pages, but the info he was trying to move in has disappeared, it's not in his space anymore and its not anywhere else i can see (trust me i've been looking)
We have a recent backup on our test system so i thought to see if i could access his personal space from there and export the information. I'm not sure if when didn't backup his space properly or if confluence doesn't actually backup personal spaces
