i want to disable user from confluence Internal Directory and use the same username which is on AD with AD password.
or delete user from Internal directory with out deleting any user pages from confluence.
I had to do something similar with Jira. I had to change the username of the Internal user database to match the username of the AD username. After that old posts and things came up under the new credentials. This was when we migrated from an OnDemand instance to an in house instance using AD for authentication. Im only guessing it should work the same way for Confluence.
i tried diabling the user but the AD user doesn't show up.
