disable comment only for child site

Is it possible to hide the comment only for child sites?

I want  that its possible to comment on the parents site and disable the comments on all child sites.

Hi @Erich Lenz,

no, this is not possible. It is a general setting for the whole space.

There's a free app "Hide Elements for Confluence" - put this on your page and remove the comment section with its settings.  But you have to add the app to every single page again. Maybe you can create a template for your child pages.

We use this app for our space main pages.
