different "all updates" at start page

Deleted user September 7, 2018

Hi,

we have noticed that the "all updates" list displayed right after login differs from one user to another, although they are members of the same groups and have the same rights. To me, the most recent updates are from Aug 29th, whereas my colleague sees updates from today and yesterday (not only own updates, in both cases).

Confluence V6.7.1 on Linux server - in V6.2.1 on another server we get both the same list.

Hello Jean, can I know if you are running on Confluence server, or a data center instance, and if you are on Confluence Data center, could you check to see if your colleague and you are on the same node?

Either if you are on Server, or Data center, it might be an issue with indexing, so do try indexing the instance from scratch, to see if this makes a difference.

Also, can I know if you are all using the same browser?

There is a know issue with Internet Explorer and Edge browsers, where the All Updates tab is not updated as often.

Hope that helps, and let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers,
Sattesh

Hi Sattesh,

thank you for your reply. We are on an our own server. I just looked again at my 'all updates' page in Edge and Firefox, and they are currently showing the same updates (newest one yesterday). So everything looks OK for the moment.

As the Confluence server is a productive server I can't stop and restart it too often.

Best regards,
Jean
