data center version

If we plan to switch to the data center version of confluence after upgrading to 5.7, do we need to work on the Active directory integration again or just following atlassian's Moving to Data Center documentation steps would do? I am confused because I need to estimate the level of effort just by reading the documentation. Please suggest.

Just follow the documentation to move. No need to work on the AD integration again.
