In short, Atlassian's policy allows them to use aggregated, de-identified metadata and in-app data to train their AI and features, stripping out personal identifiers first.

You can manage your settings under admin.atlassian.com → Security → Data contribution.
Control is strictly tied to your plan: Enterprise tiers can opt out of everything, while Free, Standard, and Premium tiers can only opt out of in-app data, metadata sharing remains mandatory.
