We use Zabbix's web scenario to monitor confluence pages. From the monitored data,we found that the page will occasionally fail to access.and the duration was about 1 second. Most of these happens at around 3:29 AM.And this case also happened in the morning at recently.
We checked the data of monitoring network at that time and confirmed that the network was fine normal at that moment. We check the catalina.out logs as well, and found no abnormalities in it.Could you help me to troubleshoot and solve this problem?
Hello,
I would suggest to start by checking Scheduled Jobs, for example Backups. If you have system automatic backups enabled, there can be resource intensive and you might be running out of memory or full GC kicks off and your system halts access to pages. atlassian-confluence.log might be useful to check there.

Igor
Hi Igor,
Thank you for your reply.I had checked the Scheduled Jobs, and there was no job arranged in that time. And I also checked the atlassian-confluence.log,but no message was found in that time as well.We use the shell backup script instead of confluence system automatic backups, and the backup job arrange at around 3:30 AM.But the case appear at around 11:00 AM recently.
Regards,
Jiajun

Ok, is there a possibility of reporting being over sensitive or misinterpreting something?
Do you have any other resource monitoring tool to make sure process did not fail? If catalina.our or atlassian-confluence.log do not log any events around the time window specified, then service must have remained up.
