confluence license

To be able to access confluence KB from the Service Desk portal with a customer account do i need confluence user licenses ?

And how do i create or link a customer with confluence user?

When i tried to create a confulence user with the same email or username i get an error that still exists.

Yes, customers must be Confluence users with permission to view the space the or Confluence space must allow anonymous access.
