How can I activate "nested groups" for the Confluence Internal Directory ?

I have Confluence configured with an Internal Directory and an external (LDAP) one. I am logged in through the LDAP external directory. But I do not see an "Edit" button next to the Internal Directory in order to activate nested groups (as I do in Jira). Do I miss something ?

As far as I know Confluence does not currently support "nested groups" in its internal directory.
A ticket has been raised on Atlassians system please vote up.

You cannot edit LDAP settings in Confluence if you are logged in with an LDAP account. You will need to log in with the local admin account or another local account that has the system administrator privilege.
