Hi Daniel,

Which article are you following? I'm not aware of any Content Control menu item in Confluence, but the steps to export from Confluence Server are as follows:

  1. Go to  > General Configuration > Backup & Restore.
  2. Choose Archive to backups folder to store a copy of the backup in the same folder as Confluence's backups
If you do not archive the backup it will be made available for you to download, and then deleted from the server after 24 hours.
  3. Choose Backup attachments to include attachments in your backup.
  4. Choose Backup.
The process can take some time.

Can you try that and let me know if you're able to access your backup?

Also please note that if you're importing to a Cloud instance that also has Jira installed, you will not be able to restore using the site backup, and will need to do it one space at a time.

Let me know if you have any questions about any of that.

Regards,

Shannon
