Is there jdbc/odbc driver to connect confluence to these databases?  we are looking to build a light weight app in confluence that can pull data from these sources

There are drivers for SQL Server and Oracle but not Azure, this page provides the download links for the JDBC drivers for all supported databases: Database JDBC Drivers
