I have some graphs from grafana that I added to a confluence page using iframe. They show up fine, and say they are updating with the refresh tag per the documentation, but none of the refreshes ever show up on the confluence page. This is not a restriction I can find in the cloud vs. server or other problem with confluence as a product.
Is there a way to make the updates from the actual graphs appear on the confluence page (the graphs are being updated on their server)?
If the iframe does not show the data from the page it is referencing, but only a snapshot of that page, what does the refresh attribute do?
Hello there!
So, as I understand a graph within an iFrame in Connie does not update as expected. Is that correct?
You could try to remove and then re-insert the iFrame in Connie and check if the graph is still out of date.
Also, could you clarify some points for us? Here they are:
- Is this "refresh" button coming from the site that is inserted via iFrame?
- Has this graph worked at some point in the past?
- What happens if you insert the same iFrame into another Confluence page?
- What happens if you clear the browser cache?
- Is there some kind of setting in the origin site that deals with update interval for external links?
- Could you link the documentation about the refresh tag?
Looking forward to your reply Jim!
