chart macro with external data

Mukund Iyer Rajamony

Hi, I run a nightly script and would like to publish the results on a confluence page using the table.
I would basically like the script to modify an external database (csv file maybe) that my chart macro can refer before rendering itself.

Is such a thing possible with the OOTB chart macro or is there an inexpensive plugin that has this capability?

Hi @Mukund Iyer Rajamony

The standard Chart macro is not capable of recognizing CSV attachments.

We can recommend our app - Table Filter and Charts for Confluence.

At first, you can use the Table from CSV macro to build your table from the CSV (TSV) data source.

Optionally, you can use our filters and pivots to structure your information and perform various calculations (similar to Excel).

Secondly, use the Chart from Table macro to build flexible charts.
