We are using confluence to point a url to
(base-host-name)s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com to host a static website
Is there a way to make this content secure?
if its not a ssl endpoint we can't proxy to using https
Yes you will need to install a valid certificate and configure your server.xml file to enable SSL, that's all you need. Please refer this link for details.
Thank you for your reply , but our confluence is housed in atlassian cloud so Im not sure that I can access the server.xlm and the static website is in aws S3 which doesn't support http and the bucket We don't have access to this server that I know of . So setup cname to point to cloudfront which performs redirect to https. Just replying to advise others if they have similar setup how I go it working.
Thank you

Hi @patrick mc mullen Can you try adding the certificate in AWS Certificate Manager and map the IPaddress/hostnames of your static website ?
